About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Architect with a robust background in on-premises infrastructure, backup solutions, and Linux systems (especially Red Hat). This role is ideal for a professional who is deeply familiar with infrastructure scaling and preparation for cloud migration, specifically to AWS. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in architectural design and migrations from on-premises environments to AWS.

• On-Premises Experience: Extensive experience managing and scaling on-premises environments.
• Backup Solutions Expertise: Broad knowledge of various backup technologies, not limited to Commvault.
• Linux Proficiency: Strong skills in Linux, particularly Red Hat.
• VMware Experience: Proven experience with VMware.
• Migration Experience: Hands-on experience with migrating infrastructure from on-premises to AWS.
• Network Knowledge: Basic understanding of networking and firewall configuration.
• Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with a wide range of infrastructure tools beyond graphical user interfaces.
  

Desired Skills:

• Architectural Design: Experience in designing infrastructure architecture.
• AWS Familiarity: While not needing to be an expert, should have practical experience with AWS services and migration processes.
• Holistic Technical Perspective: Ability to see the bigger picture and understand various technologies and their integration.
