For our Client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of:

Senior Information Security Access Specialist 
Location: Hybrid (Warsaw/Remote)
Branch: Telco
Job type: B2B (with Hays Poland)
Length: long-term cooperation, first contract for 12 months
Start date: ASAP - max 1 month

Project description:

• Continuously monitor security alerts and events generated by SOC tools and systems.
• Analyze security incidents to assess severity and organizational impact.
• Apply advanced analytics and threat detection techniques to identify anomalies and suspicious activities.
• Lead deployment and configuration of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions.
• Fine-tune SIEM rules and alerts to reduce false positives and improve detection accuracy.
• Regularly review and update SIEM configurations to address evolving threats and organizational changes.
• Collect, analyze, and distribute threat intelligence from open-source, commercial, and internal sources.
• Correlate threat intelligence with security events to enhance incident response.
• Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors relevant to the organization.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive incident response playbooks for various incident types.
• Conduct tabletop exercises and simulations to validate and refine response procedures.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams during incidents to ensure effective containment and remediation.
• Work closely with IT, network, and application teams to identify security gaps and recommend improvements.
• Participate in security assessments, audits, and vulnerability management activities.
• Share insights with stakeholders to promote security awareness and proactive risk management.
• Prepare detailed incident reports, including root cause analysis and lessons learned.
• Present findings and trends to management, highlighting areas for improvement and investment.
• Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate key security metrics and performance indicators.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field — or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SOC/SIEM and cybersecurity.
• Strong expertise in analyzing security events and threats.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ArcSight, QRadar).
• Familiarity with Threat Intelligence platforms and methodologies.
• Solid understanding of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and related technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication abilities.
