Currently we are looking for Senior HSE Specialist (W/M/X) / Starszy specjalista ds. bezpieczeństwa i higieny pracy (K/M/X). 

About this role: HSE Specialist position will be responsible for keeping our people safe and not allowing unsafe practices, behaviors, or conditions to exist. It’s about creating a culture of caring by actively engaging and involving employees and influencing their beliefs and behaviors. The role will have interfaces with corporate H&S program and network, and local projects including support to Global Design Centre in safety in design space. HSE Specialist will be a part of the Poland HSE team reporting to the Poland HSE Manager. Fluent spoken and written English is mandatory. Experience in an international organization will be an advantage.

Heres what youll need

  • Higher education (master’s degree or engineering degree) in Occupational Health and Safety or higher education + postgraduate studies (Occupational Health and Safety).
  • 6+ years of experience in OHS management.
  • Field or construction safety experience is required.
  • Strong understanding and in-depth knowledge of OHS Regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to interact and influence other engineering disciplines, clients, and vendors at all levels.
  • Strong hands-on training delivery skills (Polish and English) and willingness to provide training on safety-related topics.
  • Strong in English, both written and spoken (min. B2)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in Polish and English
  • A proactive attitude and strong interpersonal teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to develop in safety in design.
  • Working knowledge of Office software
  • Flexibility for travel to other locations.

,[Perform the tasks of the occupational health and safety service as defined in the Ordinance of 2 September 1997 on the service of safety and hygiene of work., Performing routine work in a wide range of HSE disciplines applying legal requirements, standard procedures, and safety programs., Compilation of the project’s HSE indicators to monitor the actions defined in corporate management and monitoring of processes plan and risk & opportunity management plan., Manage the non-conformities, complaints, and improvement opportunities detected on the project’s site., Support the implementation and follow-up of the HSE management plan for the projects., Conduct regular office/site safety inspections and audits. , Conducting incident investigations and analyzing/sharing lessons learned. , Delivering the H&S training program for Poland., Advising and collaborating with managers and team leaders on compliance monitoring and safety issues to mitigate risks., Supporting the execution of emergency preparedness programs., Supporting Wellbeing strategy implementation, including the Mental Health Matters program., Driving Beyond Zero culture initiatives and awareness activities., Developing and strengthening our safety culture through training, meetings, and initiatives., Interface with the wider European safety network, stakeholders, and functional partners at all levels of the organization., Utilize company systems and resources to perform the responsibilities mentioned above., Soft skills initiative, energy, enthusiasm, and commitment, while also demonstrating flexibility in their approach to work and a strong focus on teamwork., Some travel to project sites and meetings would be required, though the primary work location will be Krakow.
