The Senior HR & Business Partner – Polish Operations is a pivotal role that combines human resources expertise with a strategic business mindset. This position supports AVASK Poland, a subsidiary of AVASK Global Compliance, in driving business improvements, fostering team development, and contributing to commercial success.

The Senior HR Business Partner will act as a key driver of growth and strategy, ensuring the success of both the business and its people.

Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Leadership

• Serve as the primary HR point of contact for AVASK Poland, providing expert guidance on HR-related matters.
• Align HR strategies with the business objectives of AVASK Poland and AVASK Global Compliance.
• Develop and implement initiatives that promote team growth, employee engagement, and performance.

Business Operations Support

• Oversee day-to-day operational processes within the Polish office, ensuring alignment with company standards and efficiency.
• Support Business Managers with cross-functional expertise on matters beyond their specialism.
• Identify and implement business improvements that enhance productivity and commercial outcomes.

Talent Management and Development

• Lead recruitment and onboarding efforts to attract and retain top talent in Poland.
• Design and deliver employee development programmes to foster growth and prepare the team for future challenges.
• Collaborate with managers to identify high-potential employees and implement effective succession planning strategies.

Employee Relations and Compliance

• Manage employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent resolution in line with Polish employment laws and AVASK’s global policies.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to employment practices in Poland.
• Act as a trusted advisor on workplace policies, employee wellbeing, and performance management.

Commercial Focus and Strategic Growth

• Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for revenue growth, operational efficiency, and cost savings.
• Develop and track KPIs to measure the impact of HR initiatives on AVASK Poland’s business performance.
• Provide insights and recommendations that align HR and operational efforts with the company’s strategic goals.

Change Management and Communication

• Lead and support organisational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with AVASK’s global values.
• Act as a communication bridge between AVASK Poland and the broader AVASK Global Compliance network.

Key skills, knowledge and experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (AEDIPE, CIPD or equivalent preferred).
• Fluent in Polish and English.
• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of HR experience, including business partnering and operational roles.
• Strong understanding of Polish employment laws and regulations.
• Proven ability to drive business growth through HR strategy and process improvements.
• Demonstrated passion for supporting team development and fostering a high-performing, people-focused culture.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in HRIS and other business management tools.
