Salary on B2B: 5 250 - 10 500 USD

responsibilities :
Design and build robust ETL/ELT data pipelines from multiple healthcare data sources into cloud data lakes and warehouses.
Implement orchestration, error handling, retries, and lineage tracking for reliable data processing.
Develop Python-based processing jobs using modern libraries to merge and transform healthcare datasets.
Integrate and normalize healthcare-specific data such as claims, patient journeys, provider information (NPI), and clinical codes.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries for large healthcare datasets, calculating metrics like patient lifetime value, cohort segmentation, and treatment outcomes.
Ensure data quality through validation checks, anomaly detection, and automated validation pipelines.
Profile, optimize, and monitor data systems for performance, throughput, and cost-efficiency.
Collaborate effectively using Git, modern Python tooling, and comprehensive documentation practices.
requirements-expected :
5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a similar field.
Solid Python (3.12+) experience, especially with modern data libraries and asynchronous programming.
Strong SQL skills for large datasets, including experience with CTEs, window functions, and complex joins.
Hands-on experience with building production ETL/ELT pipelines processing large volumes of healthcare data.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure or AWS.
Experience working with healthcare data (claims, patient journeys, ICD/CPT codes) and healthcare-specific concepts.
Ability to work with large-scale datasets, optimizing for performance and cost.
Proficiency in collaborative development practices using Git.
