Senior (Group) Treasurer – Daikin Europe Business Support

Daikin Europe Business Support (DEBS) in Warsaw is a competency center that drives process transformation – optimisation, standardisation and automation across supply, service, master data, controlling, financial reporting and HR. As a (Senior) Group Treasurer you will join a team of five professionals and report directly to the Treasury Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Forecast, analyse and report the cash‑flow of the Daikin Europe Group and its stand‑alone entities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation on inter‑company and bank loans and deposits, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
• Calculate foreign‑exchange exposures to feed hedging decisions.
• Forecast and analyse the results (profit vs losses) of foreign‑exchange and interest‑rate exposures and hedging.
• Analyse and optimise banking costs.
• Prepare treasury reports and forecasts to support strategic decision‑making.
• Calculate the weighted average cost of capital (WACC) for investment evaluations and valuations.
• Analyse balance‑sheet structures of the Group and its entities, and prepare optimisation recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, J‑SOX, EMIR and other regulatory frameworks.

Candidate Profile

• Master’s degree in Applied Economics, Commercial Science or Commercial Engineering.
• Minimum five years as a Treasury or Corporate Finance analyst in a multinational company or bank, or as a Treasury consultant.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with a critical mindset.
• Creative thinking and capability to propose innovative solutions.
• Affinity with IT systems; experience with SAP FI, Power BI and TMS is a plus.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of other EU languages is an asset.
• Proactive team player with strong communication skills, accuracy and a dynamic, hands‑on attitude.
• Willingness to travel to the HQ in Belgium for training and to affiliates for projects (max. 10 %).
