Senior Group Financial Accounting & Reporting Analyst at The HEINEKEN Company
Reporting to the Financial Consolidation & Reporting Manager in Amsterdam, the financial analyst is responsible for the execution of the HEINEKEN Group financial consolidation for internal and external reporting purposes.
Responsibilities
- Record to Report – Period End Close
- Align with OpCo on complex accounting topics
- Record and monitor Group eliminations and consolidation adjustments
- Monitor consolidated view (M&A, FS notes, policies)
- Align with Group stakeholders on internal and external reporting
- Record to Report – Group Financial Reporting (Group)
- Update SAP BCS system configuration for external disclosures
- Prepare primary FS notes and disclosures
- Quarterly CBS & DNB reporting to authorities
- Respond to inquiries from authorities
- Equity lift‑up (alignment with Tax, Treasury, Corporate)
- Risk management
- ICFR control design – focus on impact on external disclosures
- Align accounting and controls with Group auditors
- Monitor legal structure (CIL ownership vs LEMS)
- Mergers & Acquisitions (regional/global scope)
- Provide guidance on M&A accounting; align with OpCo and Group stakeholders
- Define and monitor accounting treatment and consolidated group impact
- Capability management
- Support global trainings, workshops & webcasts
- Business process & technology
- Proactive engagement in the Finance Transformation agenda
- Participate or lead projects that improve effectiveness and efficiency of Finance and other global functions within HEINEKEN
- Support D&T to manage technology platforms (SAP GR + ICMR)
- Support future vision and architectural proposal for Financial Consolidation and Group Reporting (HEIper project)
Qualifications
- International academic accounting qualification in Business Economics or Accountancy (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Five years of experience in Accounting and Reporting, ideally with audit experience
- Experience with financial consolidation and M&A accounting
- Fluent in English, able to communicate well at all levels of the organization
- Fostering collaboration within the team and with outside stakeholders
- Influencing skills and a drive for continuous professional development
- Analytical skills to prepare strong business cases
- Project management skills
