Job Description:

For our Client, GBS from one of the top in the industry, we are looking for candidates for the position of (Senior) GL Specialist with English, who will take part in transition processes.

Responsibilities:

• Handling general ledger activities such as posting journals, accruals, provisions, revaluations, account reconciliations, fixed asset accounting and reviews and approvals.
• Performing month-end closing activities.
• BS reconciliation and analyzing balance sheet (BS), profit & loss (P&L) figures and variance.
• Cooperation with other financial departments (including internal and external audit).
• Preparing reports on GL issues and to be first-line contact and support concerning RTR queries.
• Participation in process transition.
• Participation in the automation and standardization of financial processes.

Requirements:

• 2.5+ years of experience in GL or RTR area.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics or NAVISION will be a huge asset.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting or certificate in finance.
• High business culture and communication skills.
• Analytical attitude combined with an orientation to details.
• Willingness to take challenges and new solutions.
• Fluent in English (at least B2).
• Fluent in other languages such as German or French will be a huge asset.
• Knowledge of US GAAP (preferred) or IFRS.
• Experience in migration processes and project improvement will be a huge asset.
