For our Client, a Global Business Services specialised in the service sector, we are looking for candidates for the position of (Senior) GL Accountant with Romanian, who will participate in a transition project, as well as supporting the standardization and automation of financial processes.

(Senior) GL Accountant with Romanian

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in GL area or simmilar,
• knowledge of SAP system will be a huge asset,
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting or certificate in finance,
• in-depth knowledge of GL processes,
• high business culture and communication skills,
• analytical attitude combined with an orientation to details,
• willingness to take challenges and new solutions,
• fluent in English (at least B2) and Romanian (at least B2),
• experience in migration processes and project improvement will be a huge asset.

Responsibilities

• handling general ledger activities such as accruals, provisions, revaluations,
• performing month-end closing activities,
• checking the correctness of invoices and their correction,
• reconciliation of account balances,
• support in SOX and internal control environment,
• support in the preparation of financial statements and other ad-hoc reports,
• analyzing balance sheet (BS), profit & loss (P&L) figures and variance,
• first-line contact and support concerning RTR/GL queries,
• participatation in knowledge tranbsfer and supporting the automation and standardization of finance processes,
  
  close cooperatataion with local market.
