What we expect

• univeristy degree in accounting or related and/or qualification in finance or accounting (e.g. ACCA / CPA)
• 2+ years experience in general ledger accounting, or similar (SSC environment will be advantage)
• understanding accounting standards
• knowledge of ERP systems
• experience with data analytics will be an advantage
• collaboration and communication skills
• fluent English and Polish including professional vocabulary
• other language will be advantage (German/Italian/French)

Your tasks

• ensure that financial information complies with professional and regulatory standards
• enter financial data such as accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and interdepartmental entries into the ledger on a monthly basis, as well as preparing reports
• perform account analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances are correct
• reconcile accounts with the general ledger
• gather supporting documentation and performing record keeping
• support preparation of statutory statements, statutory and internal audits
• keep abreast of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting
