About our Client For our client, Kempower—a Finnish company creating the most user‑friendly, scalable, and smart DC fast‑charging solutions for all electric vehicles—we are building a new Finance Shared Service Center in Kraków. We are currently looking for talented professionals who would like to join this newly established financial hub and contribute to Kempower’s dynamic growth.
As a Senior GL Accountant, you will be part of the AR & GL team within Kempower’s Finance Shared Service Center. You will be responsible for end-to-end general ledger accounting, month-end and year-end closing activities, reconciliations, and supporting internal and external reporting. The role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and continuous improvement of Record-to-Report processes.
This Senior GL Accountant role primarily focuses on accounting for Kempower’s listed parent company. In addition, the role supports subsidiary accounting and contributes to maintaining harmonized accounting practices and processes across the group. The role includes proactive contribution to continuous improvement in collaboration with process owners, development team, and the AR & GL Team Lead.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations,
- Perform supplier bank account verifications in line with internal control requirements,
- Post and reconcile bank transactions,
- Execute month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing activities,
- Prepare and review balance sheet and P&L reconciliations,
- Maintain fixed asset accounting and depreciation postings,
- Support statutory reporting, audits, and internal control activities,
- Contribute to process development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:- Approximately 4+ years of experience in GL, R2R and financial reporting,
- Relevant education in Finance,
- Accounting or Business Administration Experience in an SSC, GBS, or multinational environment is an advantage,
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and ERP systems,
- Good communication skills in English.
