Our Client is a global leader in providing IT solutions. The company operates globally, serving clients in over 50 countries, with products tailored to both individual facilities and extensive franchise networks. Headquartered in Warsaw, the company combines local expertise with international reach. We are seeking a Senior GL Accountant to oversee financial statements, manage outsourced bookkeeping, and lead audit processes.

Job Description

• Oversee the preparation of local financial statements (together with external office).
• Lead the annual closing process and coordinate financial audits.
• Perform and review reconciliations of general and supplementary ledgers, including intercompany settlements.
• Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting and business processes.
• Conduct analyses and reconciliations to support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing cycles.
• Participate in decision-making processes and implement improvements in financial and non-financial disclosures to align with best practices.
• Identify and implement process improvements, including automated solutions, to streamline external reporting and operational efficiency.

Candidate Profile

• Masters degree in Accounting.
• At least 4 years of experience in General Ledger (GL) accounting.
• Solid expertise in accounting standards, including Polish GAAP and IFRS.
• Analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficiency in Polish and English at a minimum B2 level (German will be a plus).
• Hands-on experience with Oracle knowledge, including at least one year of usage or implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly acquire knowledge, work autonomously, and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
• Strong command of MS Excel.
