Together with our Scandinavian partner, we are currently seeking an experienced GCP Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team working on a pivotal project for a company operating in the transport industry. As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in a team of five professionals, focusing primarily on the development and maintenance of the cloud infrastructure.

Challenges

1. Collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to develop and maintain the cloud infrastructure for a transport company.
2. Implement best practices in cloud architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
3. Contribute to the design and deployment of cloud solutions, optimizing performance and efficiency.
4. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide effective cloud solutions.
5. Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based systems, addressing any issues promptly to ensure seamless operations.
6. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating innovative solutions into the cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its services
• Experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions using GCP services like Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Java, Go)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Google Cloud certifications (e.g. Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect) is required.
