responsibilities :
A Senior Developer at Degree is expected to understand and align with customer needs while designing and implementing complex systems. They must build and maintain scalable, secure systems with high-quality code, and collaborate effectively across teams. The role involves technical leadership through code reviews and mentoring, driving process improvements, delivering business impact through technical solutions, while maintaining strong partnerships with stakeholders and contributing to architectural decisions.
1.Understand and align with customer needs
Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions that align with their business goals.
2.Design and implement complex integrations
Design, implement, and maintain integrations between various systems, including ERP, CMS, and custom business-critical solutions.
Optimize and refactor existing integrations to align with evolving business requirements and industry standards.
3.Build and maintain scalable, secure systems
Ensure integrations and custom solutions are secure, scalable, fault-tolerant, and capable of handling complex workflows.
Adhere to and advocate for best practices, including clean code, test-driven development (TDD), and CI/CD pipelines.
4.Ensure robust system monitoring and troubleshooting
Set up proactive monitoring and alerting for systems and applications.
Conduct problem analysis and root cause identification, resolving issues to prevent future occurrences.
5.Write high-quality, maintainable code
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to established standards.
Develop reusable components and libraries to improve development efficiency.
6.Technical collaboration and knowledge sharing
Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and foster a culture of knowledge sharing within the team.
Mentor junior developers to enhance their technical skills and ensure consistent team growth.
7.Collaborate across teams
Work with front-end developers to create seamless integrations between back-end systems and front-end user interfaces.
Partner with project managers, architects, and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of customer-focused solutions.
8.Assist in technical and process improvements
Influence and define technical architecture for new projects, ensuring alignment with long-term business strategies.
Continuously evaluate and improve internal processes and development practices to increase team efficiency.
9.Focus on business impact and outcomes
Proactively identify opportunities for technical solutions that drive measurable business value for external customers.
Collaborate with stakeholders to balance technical feasibility with customer goals and project constraints.
10.Expand expertise in DynamicWeb CMS
Deepen your understanding of the DynamicWeb CMS platform and become the teams go-to expert for solving complex problems.
Provide guidance to internal teams to ensure proper use of the product and its features.

As a Senior Developer at Degree you should possess strong technical skills in .NET and cloud technologies, demonstrate mastery of development best practices including Git and DevOps, excel in problem-solving within an agile environment, maintain effective communication in both Polish and English, and focus on delivering customer-oriented solutions.
Strong Technical Expertise:
Proven experience with building business systems and tools using the .NET framework (including .NET Core, MVC, and C#).
Deep understanding of systems integration and development patterns.
Solid knowledge of database technologies (preferably SQL Server).
Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider and their serverless services (we use Azure).
Development Best Practices:
Expertise with Git version control.
Familiarity with performance optimization techniques and best practices.
Proficiency with testing frameworks such as NUnit, xUnit, or Moq.
Strong grasp of DevOps practices and tools.
Problem-Solving and Agile Mindset:
Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and optimize complex code.
Familiarity with and understanding of agile development methodologies.
Ability to see tasks through to completion with a proactive attitude.
