Your responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of fullstack applications.
- Take ownership of the application lifecycle, from architecture to deployment and monitoring.
- Drive frontend development using Next.js and TypeScript with a focus on performance and UX.
- Develop and maintain backend services using Python, applying best practices for clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Implement RESTful APIs and microservices in Python, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Integrate deeply with GCP services and manage infrastructure using Terraform.
- Design and maintain event-driven systems using Kafka.
- Ensure CI/CD pipelines are robust, automated, and secure.
- Guide architectural decisions and ensure consistency across the codebase.
- Mentor team members and conduct thorough code reviews.
- Promote best practices in testing, security, and scalability.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and planning.
- Align technical solutions with business goals through stakeholder collaboration.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to keep the technology stack current and competitive.
Our requirements
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- High ethical standards, empowering team members, promoting collaboration, openness to innovation, and commitment to continuous improvement; ability to guide cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Expert-level experience in Next.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture.
- Strong backend experience with Python, including building APIs, microservices, and working with frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Experience in writing automated tests and applying Python best practices for performance and scalability.
- Strong experience with GCP, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in Git and GitHub workflows..
- Experience with Kafka for building scalable, event-driven systems.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing..
- Familiarity with Sentry, Elastic Stack, and GCP Cloud Logging for monitoring and observability.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and document decisions clearly..
