We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer in the Crop Science IT division!

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be a part of Bayers Crop Science global Fruits and Vegetables Business (Horticulture). You will work on implementing our open agronomic platform product called HortiView, linking together data and services from an ecosystem of vendors for the benefit of farmers in the fruits and vegetable space.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Take responsibility for components of our platform HortiView e.g. the marketplace or develop new components and ensure further lifecycle,
• Implement and enhance our general software architecture and services,
• Implement Modules/Services integrating to our HortiView agronomic platform for Fruits and Vegetable farmers via the HortiView marketplace,
• Work with our product managers,
• Join and coordinate software development activities together with our internal teams and external partners.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Education in computer science or similar. Minimum Bachelor grade,
• Full stack software development experience - minimum 5 years,
• Very good knowledge of backend development with the .NET Framework (C#, ASP.NETCore, .NET Core),
• Work with modern development environments e.g. Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio,
• You already worked within the development of microservices and event-based architectures,
• Micro-Frontend-Technologies and frameworks e.g. Webpack module federation,
• Cloud computing, preferably Azure.
