You’ll contribute to the development of cutting-edge data and insight platforms that empower decision-making across a global financial institution, supporting transformational initiatives with cloud technology and modern architecture. Only candidates with an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered for this role. Your responsibilities Design, develop, test, and implement scalable web-based applications within a microservice architecture. Support migration of existing reporting solutions to cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform. Mentor team members, sharing expertise and guiding technology stack transitions. Follow agile IT development methodologies and security best practices to ensure high-quality delivery and comprehensive documentation. Perform impact analysis and create detailed high- and low-level design documentation. Collaborate across international teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of solutions. Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools, including CI/CD pipelines. Our requirements At least 7 years of experience in full-stack web application development, with a strong focus on microservices. Proven expertise in Java (Java 17 preferred) with Spring/Spring Boot and RESTful APIs. Strong skills in ReactJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services. Experience working with relational databases/data warehouses such as PostgreSQL, BigQuery, AlloyDB. Proficiency with Git and version control systems (e.g., GitHub). Experience conducting impact analysis and designing system architecture. Understanding of CI/CD practices, for example with Jenkins. A natural ability to share knowledge and explain complex technical concepts clearly. Fluent English command, both written and spoken. Optional Knowledge of data visualization tools like Apache ECharts is advantageous. Certifications in cloud technology or software architecture. Experience working in global banking or financial environments.
