About the role:
In this role, youll be actively involved in agile sprints, contributing across the full software development life cycle – from requirements gathering and design to development, deployment, and post-go-live support. We’re looking for a proactive developer with strong technical skills and customer-facing experience who can deliver production-grade solutions.
Engagement: project for an American Insurance Customer
Location: fully remote across Poland
Working hours: as we work for an American customer, we can start the day between 9:00-11:00 am CET
Key responsibilities:
- Participate in agile sprints and contribute to all phases of the SDLC.
- Develop, test, and maintain application modules according to sprint goals.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and business stakeholders.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, peer reviews, and best practices.
- Support implementation and stabilization after go-live.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues or enhancement requests.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing.
- Take ownership of assigned modules and guide junior developers.
Must-have skills and experience:
- Proven ability to deliver features end-to-end in customer-facing or internal projects.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and component-based front-end architecture.
- Hands-on experience with SQL/Oracle (queries, joins, optimization).
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and integration workflows.
- Experience with Git and DevOps-friendly development practices.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and sprint delivery.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to design efficient solutions.
- Solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Fluency in Polish and English (working in an international team and American Client).
Nice to have:
- Exposure to Low Code / No Code platforms (e. , Neutrinos, Mendix, OutSystems).
- Basic understanding of Docker/Kubernetes and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with BPM tools, API orchestration, and system integrations.
- Experience in the insurance or financial services (BFSI) domain.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Remote work (but you can work from our Warsaw office at any time).
