Senior Frontend Developer works in a scrum team that develops the Next Generation of ecommerce frontend.

The scrum team develops new functions for the eCommerce platform.

The role will participate in the implementation of technical and process innovations in frontend development, help in solving any emerging challenges and technical problems, and support the skill community by sharing your knowledge and experience with other frontend experts.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Leading topics related to implementation in the Next Generation frontend for ecommerce.
  2. Providing technical consultation on frontend related topics.
  3. Taking part in code review to help improve the team’s knowledge and suggest improvements.
  4. Acting as a mentor and guide on technical issues for junior developers.
  5. Investigating the latest technology and building quick Proof of Concept functionalities to address future business needs.
  6. Promoting best-in-class development principles and quality standards – i.e. Clean Code, BDD/TDD.
  7. Contributing to the Development Community of Practice to agree and endorse development principles and best practices for the company development teams.
  8. Helping the organization structure complex engineering issues: technology, development methodologies, Continuous Improvement / Continuous Delivery.

Qualifications & Skills:



  1. 5+ years proven track record in this role, preferably in an international and multicultural environment working in classic and virtual teams.
  2. Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP) for software development and DevOps.
  3. Results oriented: Proven track record of delivering on targets.
  4. Strong fundamentals in software design and development.
  5. Experience in writing unit tests (e.g. Jest and other testing utilities).
  6. Knowledge of CSS pre-processors and frameworks (preferably SCSS).
  7. Knowledge of architecture design patterns and software craftsmanship principles (Clean Code, Clean Coder, Clean Architecture).
  8. Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery using continuous delivery tooling such as Jenkins/AzureDevOps and practical experience with Docker containerization.
  9. Fluency in English—verbal and written.
  10. Knowledge of UX and design sensibilities, wireframe tools like Abstract, Figma, tracking tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) is a plus.
