More about the role

This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Senior FP&A Officer in Lodz with Signify.

As a Senior FP&A Officer, you’ll be responsible for analyzing and reporting on business performance by leading FP&A activities including for Business Europe: Monthly performance, Target, Quarterly Forecasting, as well as product/market/customer/integral profitability, cost control, Pricing/margin analysis. You deliver actionable forward‑looking information in the form of periodic and specific scenario planning to support decision making. You work together with Senior business stakeholders, Finance and FP&A colleagues and CoE’s to drive performance management in Signify.

What you’ll do

  • Manage and monitor the Financial Planning & Analysis processes end‑to‑end.
  • Sparring partner for the Business Partners within Businesses and Business Units
  • Hold periodic (weekly/daily) management meetings and prioritize and process business requirements.
  • Preparation and coordination in the Forecasting and Target for your business and supporting the strategic planning process of the Division
  • Coordinate and actively contribute to the performance of the team.
  • Monitor the performance of the team, including design and measurement of relevant KPIs and target levels by using Lean methodologies.
  • Works proactively together with the BP to understand and anticipate business needs for information
  • Maintain good relations and ensure customer satisfaction through effective leadership and providing high quality of service.
  • Analyze and interpret performance in Sales, Margin, Non‑Manufacturing Costs as well as the Balance sheet and FCF for trends and variations delivering meaningful, accurate and timely reporting & analysis to translate these into insights that articulate the issues together with actionable mitigation recommendations.
  • Focused on understanding & solving business challenges through data‑based insights by performing forward‑looking ad‑hoc analysis, such as project & strategy evaluation, benchmarking, price/volume mix, scenario analysis, etc.
  • Actively manage, coordinate and drive the planning processes for target and forecasts
  • Identify process improvement and standardization opportunities, and actively support the implementation
  • Maintain a culture of continuous improvement amongst the team members.

Your qualifications

  • Master’s degree in finance and accounting orientated study.
  • >12 year working experience in the area of business analysis or business partnering.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills that help you in being a financial sparring partner for senior financial managers.
  • Organizational sensitivity and you are able to see things from the perspective of various, different stakeholders.
  • A dedicated professional as well as a team player with proven ability to deliver high quality results in a high‑pressure environment.
