Senior Financial Controller

Your responsibilities

• Acting as the main finance contact for your scope, helping the business translate strategic decisions into financial outcomes, and using financial data to guide decision-making
• Managing risks and opportunities based on financial performance and business discussions
• Taking ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning for your scope
• Supporting your finance colleagues within the cluster as needed
• Understanding the business model and market to provide constructive challenges and insights
• Collaborating with local accounting and billing/invoicing teams
• Conducting monthly financial analyses, comparing results against budget, forecast, previous years, and historical trends
• Providing ad hoc analyses, such as business cases, to support management with financial decisions
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes
• Participating in both local and global initiatives, which may involve occasional travel

Our requirements

• A Master’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Corporate Finance, or a related field
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance, with a strong background in business controlling
• Fluency in spoken and written English (knowledge of German or Croatian is a plus)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to plan effectively and make critical decisions
• Confidence when interacting with senior management
• High energy, motivation, and a passion for excellence
• A proactive approach, critical mindset, and hands-on attitude
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with SAP4Hana, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Power BI is a plus
