Senior Financial Analyst with French – Supervising Associate

Hybrid model: 2 days office / 3 days remote

The opportunity

The BA&I (Business Analysis & Investments) team seeks a strong Finance Advisor to support EY CBS France. You will partner with key business leaders, provide critical analysis of business direction and operating performance, and support the CBS France Finance Lead in delivering insights to the leadership team.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Assist the CBS France Senior Finance Manager with insights, including monthly P&L reviews, strategic and financial planning, business modeling and ad‑hoc analysis.
• Deliver monthly performance reviews, providing insightful financial analysis and commentary. Maintain robust month‑end reporting and ensure commentaries are timely, actionable.
• Respond to finance and leadership requests, providing insightful information to guide decision‑making and support ad‑hoc financial analysis.
• Model projections, identify trends and issues, and deliver forward‑looking analyses.
• Lead planning and forecasting processes, ensuring outputs align with regional, area and global objectives.
• Participate in cost‑efficiency and optimization improvement projects.
• Coach less experienced professionals, supporting development of Trusted Business Advisor competencies.

• Strong presentation, leadership, problem‑solving, analytical and listening skills.
• Proficient in financial software including Power BI and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

To qualify for the role

• Graduate and/or professional certification in Accounting, Finance or a related business field.
• 4+ years of finance/business experience, including at least 3 years of supervisory, analytical, forecasting and budgeting responsibilities.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Basic French language skills (spoken and written). Proficiency is an advantage but not required.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Initiative in problem‑solving and a proactive approach to raising concerns to senior members.
