What is Fiduciary FP&A team responsible for?

We’re currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join Fiduciary FP&A team in Poznan. The responsibilities of the team include the management and supervision of the companys extensive budgetary efforts, in addition to normal management reporting; financial analysis and ad-hoc tasks.

Responsibilities of a Senior Financial Analyst:

  1. Report and analyze the Income Statement, including revenues and expenses, and the Balance Sheet
  2. Analyze actual versus budget and period-over-period results and provide thorough and robust variance analysis, commentary and talking points
  3. Develop the monthly and quarterly projections and annual revenue and expense budgets
  4. Perform reconciliations, coordinate accruals and reclasses
  5. Produce, review and analyze Key Metrics and Dashboards
  6. Monitor, review and analyze expenses and allocations
  7. Review and improve existing processes with the goal being continuous improvement
  8. Report and analyze Headcount, including tracking headcount movement and the status of open positions
  9. Oversee Treasury related processes and reports
  10. Assist with various ad-hoc tasks, initiatives and projects
  11. Maintain chart of accounts and management reporting distribution lists
  12. Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, guidelines and checklists for all processes and reports
  13. Assist with regulatory reporting & analysis, reviews/examinations, and internal/external audits

Qualifications, skills and experience:

  1. 3-5+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst / Senior Financial Analyst
  2. Solid in the following core finance functions: Accounting, Finance, Management Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting, and Variance Analysis
  3. Good knowledge of MS Excel with VBA and Power Query experience
  4. Good knowledge MS Power BI
  5. Knowledge of MS Access would be a plus
  6. Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for details
  7. Strong problem-solving skills
  8. Ability to take initiative and work independently
  9. Self-reliance and self-discipline at work
  10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  11. Very good organizational skills
  12. Fluent knowledge of English (spoken and written)
  13. Financial Services industry experience, specifically Asset Management experience would be a plus
