Job Description:

For our client, an international retail company with operational Business Units in the EMEA region, we are looking for a driven and highly skilled individual to join their new Finance Team as a Senior Financial Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in establishing new structures in Krakow, contributing significantly to the organizations growth and success.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare regular financial reports, analyses, and forecasts to support critical business decisions.
  2. Actively participate in budgeting processes and monitor budget performance.
  3. Analyze key financial indicators and recommend optimization strategies based on data-driven insights.
  4. Act as a business partner in financial matters, providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  5. Review and optimize financial and accounting processes to enhance operational efficiency and improve data quality.
  6. Develop, define, and reorganize controlling processes to align with organizational goals.
  7. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and support financial analyses and decision-making processes.

Requirements:

  1. At least 3 years of experience in finance, controlling, or accounting.
  2. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Mathematics (postgraduate studies in Controlling are a plus).
  3. Strong understanding of forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling.
  4. Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and presenting findings in a clear and concise manner to various stakeholders.
  5. High self-motivation, commitment, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments and organizational levels.
  7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  8. Proficiency in English (C1 level).
  9. Advanced MS Office and Excel skills.
