Senior Finance Specialist, General Ledger & Controlling Italian Speaker

Global Business Services (GBS) was launched in 2019 to provide top‑notch financial, planning and supply‑chain services, supporting core business activities such as master data management, procurement and supply‑chain business intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Account for accounting operations in the GL area according to US GAAP
• Reconcile balance accounts
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Calculate and book accruals & prepaids
• Handle fixed‑assets accounting
• Identify and solve cross‑process issues (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury)
• Prepare financial statements according to US GAAP
• Support internal & external audit activities
• Recommend and implement process improvement ideas

Desired Skills & Experience

• 2 to 5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance
• Strong SAP FI and AA module skills
• Previous experience in General Ledger
• In‑depth knowledge of US GAAP
• English and Italian at a very good level (C1)
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• Good problem‑solving skills and cooperative attitude
• Ability to work within tight operational deadlines and priorities
• High degree of proactiveness and self‑reliance
• Experience working in a worldwide affiliated group
