Your key responsibilities:
- Managing financial and accounting processes: Verifying, posting, and overseeing financial documentation (purchase invoices, sales invoices, corrections).
- Financial reporting and analysis: Preparing financial reports, conducting data analysis, including cash flow and budgeting, to support strategic decision-making for senior management.
- Accounts receivable and payable control: Managing financial liquidity, verifying payments and obligations, processing payments, and reporting to external accounting.
- Optimizing financial processes: Initiating and implementing improvements in accounting processes, collaborating on new system implementations and ERP tools.
- Collaboration with external institutions: Communicating with financial institutions, banks, and government bodies, including tax settlements and cooperation with the Tax Office, Social Insurance Institution (ZUS), and National Court Register (KRS).
- Managing cash flow: Working with investors, the board, and the legal team to secure necessary documentation for funding rounds.
- Cooperation with Sales and Logistics teams: Supporting day-to-day decisions related to invoicing and payments.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or economics.
- Experience working with ERP systems (knowledge of Symfonia ERP is a plus).
- Strong ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent knowledge of tax regulations (VAT, CIT) and accounting principles.
- Experience in preparing financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working with external accounting firms and financial institutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in English, especially in working with international documentation.
