Senior Financial Analyst – What we do and who we are
Role: Senior Financial Analyst
Responsibilities
- Participation in the preparation process of budgets, forecasts, and business plans
- Providing ad-hoc analytics, reporting, and consultations to support business decisions
- Creating value from converting financial data into business insights
- Leading various projects including standardization and improvements
- Performing variance analysis and commentary
- Preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports
- Preparation of reports for the needs of various stakeholders
- End-to-end month-end closing process
Qualifications
- Over 3 years of proven experience in financial analysis, controlling, audit, or similar finance function
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to derive conclusions from financial data
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics
- Basic understanding of IFRS or local GAAP
- Familiarity with Power BI, Hyperion, MS Office, SAP, other financial systems, and databases is an asset
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
