Role Overview

The Senior Field Service Engineer will visit customers to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, fault analysis, and upgrades for Leica’s histopathology equipment. The role supports the creation of a new service organization in Poland and works closely with Field Support and Sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation of histopathology and ancillary equipment.
• Contribute to building a new service organization in Poland.
• Deliver accurate reporting, handle Salesforce reports, expense entries, spare stock, and other documentation.
• Collaborate with the Field Support Team to meet KPI‑based after‑sales service targets.
• Support the sales team with basic training, installations, demonstrations, and system builds.
• Share insights from customer interactions to improve satisfaction and service administration.

Essential Requirements

• Experience in field service or laboratory work.
• Education in mechanical, electronic, electrical, or biomedical engineering; bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred.
• Fluency in Polish and English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of network configuration (firewalls, TCP/IP) in a Windows environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools such as SFDC / Field Service.
• Ability to carry and move up to 25 kg safely.
