Overview
As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead high-performing engineering teams, drive technical excellence, and foster a culture of trust, autonomy, and continuous improvement. You’ll collaborate across departments to deliver scalable, resilient software systems and shape strategic technical direction.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow engineering teams, fostering a culture of trust, autonomy, and continuous learning
- Drive delivery of scalable, high-quality software systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute technical strategies
- Promote engineering best practices (CI/CD, TDD, Agile, DevOps, SRE)
- Contribute to architecture decisions and occasionally support with hands-on coding
- Set and track OKRs, KPIs, and DORA metrics to ensure operational excellence
Qualifications
- 8+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years in leadership roles
- Experience in large, global organizations
- Strong technical background (Java, AWS, CI/CD, middleware, etc.)
- Proven track record in delivering complex systems and mentoring senior engineers
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills
- Familiarity with Agile, Lean, XP, and modern SDLC practices
