Senior Engineering Manager - DeFi & Stablecoins
We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager - DeFi & Stablecoins at P2P.org, the largest institutional staking provider with a TVL of over $10B and a market share exceeding 20% in restaking.
P2P.org focuses on researching and improving infrastructure to extract maximum APR while enhancing security. Our NRR is on average 10% higher than the market in ETH and SOL, and 20% higher in DOT. We launch new networks such as TON, Avail, Monad, Babylon, Story, Berachain, and others, and offer yield products for stablecoins. Clients include BitGo, Copper, Crypto.com, Ledger, ByBit, Bitget, OKX, HTX, Bitvavo, SBI, and others.
We are expanding our product line exploring RWA, data, yield and service products for banks, exchanges, custodians, and wallets. Our distributed team shares a passion for decentralized finance to build a fairer system.
Role Overview
The Senior Engineering Manager will lead our Frontend software development teams building all staking and earn client‑facing products. You will oversee the development of user interfaces for complex applications, working closely with product managers, designers, and backend teams to deliver intuitive and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of frontend and fullstack engineers and tech leads.
- Participate in system architecture design, scalable delivery, performance optimization, and best development practices.
- Own the technical direction and delivery of complex user interface projects, aligning with company goals and product strategy.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements, prioritize features, and deliver solutions that meet user needs.
- Ensure high standards for code quality, performance, and scalability.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and professional development planning.
- Ensure reliability and resilience of our services.
- Adhere to DevOps best practices, including automation, CI/CD, containerization, and cloud infrastructure.
- Manage incident response, monitoring, and platform reliability improvements.
- Engage with the blockchain community, particularly key ecosystems like Ethereum, Solana, BTC.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums, participating in panels and technical discussions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, strong background in frontend development and fullstack technologies.
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role, managing frontend or fullstack engineering teams.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, high‑quality user interfaces at scale.
- Deep technical expertise in designing scalable, high-load, fault‑tolerant, and secure software systems.
- Strong proficiency in modern frontend technologies such as React, TypeScript, and modern CSS approaches.
- Familiarity with fullstack technologies (Node.js, Nest.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, REST APIs).
- Experience with web performance optimization, accessibility standards, and cross‑browser compatibility.
- Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and experience collaborating with designers.
- Proficient in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization, and cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS).
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to make sound decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience managing technical debt, balancing short‑term and long‑term goals, and prioritizing competing demands.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of blockchain technologies, particularly in staking services and consensus mechanisms.
- Experience with blockchain protocols (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Polkadot, Solana).
- Experience engaging with and collaborating with leading blockchain communities.
- Participation in blockchain research communities, discussions, and building relationships with protocol developers.
