As a Senior Engineering Manager, youll be instrumental in fostering the growth and technical aptitude of Software Engineers and Software Test Engineers. Youll act as a consultant to the technical staff, leveraging your experience, knowledge, and skills to provide guidance. Autonomously leading and growing a team of full-stack engineers
Monitoring and improving your teams performance to achieve both collective objectives and the individual goals of team members
Driving the product development lifecycle from idea generation to delivery, through collaboration with your Product, Design, and QA peers
Collaborating with other teams to grasp interdependencies, prioritize tasks, and identify opportunities for streamlining processes
Advocating for operational excellence through automation, tooling, and monitoring/alerting
Collaborating closely with the Director of Engineering to shape processes and enhance performance for both the team and the entire department
Seeking out opportunities to improve engineering excellence within and beyond your team to keep a continuous improvement methodology
requirements-expected :
A seasoned Engineering Leader with 4+ years of experience managing Software Engineers
7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
Passionate about building high-performing teams and challenging yourself and others to constantly learn and improve
Comfortable giving and receiving feedback, in the interest of mentorship and self-improvement
Knowledgeable about backend services and client applications, and best practices for interaction between the two
Experienced with Agile development methodologies including Scrum and Kanban, and desire to work in an Agile environment
Fluent in English, both in speaking and writing
Strong communication and collaboration qualities
