Strong experience of managing Engineering Managers and leading teams of highly skilled software engineers to success
- Excellent understanding of one or more of the key components in our tech stack (ReactNative/Java/Kafka/Kubernetes/AWS)
- Solid practical and theoretical knowledge of modern software development
- Experience building and designing scalable and performant systems, and making significant contributions to the wider engineering goals of the company
- Experience building new highly performant teams

,[Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will be the engineering leader responsible for technical stewardship of one or more product mission teams or foundational areas of our business., Lead a group of Engineering Managers to support and develop their Engineers in a matrixed product-engineering organisation, across empowered squads, Provide engineering support and guidance to mission Product Managers, Engineering Managers and Product Owners, Work with the Talent Acquisition team to hire and develop great people, Work closely with other Senior Engineering Managers to surface engineering insights that chart the achievements and opportunities for continual improvement across Engineering, Maintain a supportive, engaging and motivating team culture focused on high performance and predictability, Manage one or more Staff Engineers, and work with Architecture and Security teams, to ensure your squads deliver the highest standards of technical design and implementation and ensure our platform is operationally excellent Requirements: Java, React native, Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS Tools: Agile.
