Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Defence Projects (DV Cleared) - London

Up to £90k Basic + Benefits & Bonus (Dependant on years of industry experience)

City of London / Undisclosed site within the M25

Partnering with a brilliant multi-disciplinary consultancy - global in reach yet boutique in feel - were seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our clients London building services team and play a pivotal role in some of the UKs most critically important and highly classified building projects within the Defence sector.

These are projects you wont see in the news, but youll know youve had a hand in shaping the countrys future security.

Due to the sensitive nature of the work, applicants must already hold Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance or be eligible to obtain it.

Eligibility typically requires you to be British-born, with both parents also British-born, and have been in the UK for the past 10 years. The project in questions is in London, within the M25 and will require you to be on site 2 to 3 days a week. You will have 2 days flexible working and will be required in our clients office (City based) every so often for technical peer and design reviews.

Your Role

• Lead electrical design on complex, secure building projects.
• Collaborate with a talented multi-disciplinary team across mechanical, public health and specialist engineering disciplines.
• Deliver innovative, sustainable, and technically excellent solutions to exacting Defence standards.

What youll bring

• Proven track record as an Electrical Design Engineer in building services (6 to 10 years +), ideally working for a consultant or contractor (design oriented).
• Strong experience in delivering projects from concept through to completion.
• Excellent technical, organisational, and communication skills.
• DV clearance (or full eligibility to obtain it).
