About the Role





As a Senior Director, Delivery, you will:


  1. Define Strategy: Establish the strategic direction for delivery operations, including setting long-term goals, defining product delivery models, and identifying opportunities for growth or improvement. Delivery model which helps to grow in more LEAN and Agile mindset and move on to DevOps methodology.
  2. Leadership and Team Management: Leading and managing teams responsible for the delivery of products or services. This involves hiring, training, coaching, mentoring and developing staff, as well as fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  3. Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal Product Teams, understanding their needs, and ensuring that the delivery meets or exceeds their expectations.
  4. Alignment with Business Objectives: Ensuring that delivery strategies are aligned with the broader business objectives of the company, such as revenue targets, customer satisfaction goals, and Agile delivery methodology.
  5. Process Improvement: Continuously assessing and improving delivery processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality. This may include implementing new technologies or methodologies.
  6. Stakeholder Communication: Communicating effectively with all stakeholders, including internal Product customers, team members, and senior management, to ensure transparency and buy-in for delivery strategies.
  7. Innovation: Encouraging innovation in service delivery methods to stay competitive and meet changing market demands.
  8. Performance Metrics: Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of delivery operations and make data-driven decisions.
  9. Risk Management: Identifying potential risks to delivery timelines, budgets, or quality, and developing strategies to mitigate these risks.
  10. Financial Management: Overseeing the budget for delivery operations, including forecasting, resource allocation, and cost control.

About You



You’re a fit for the role of Senior Director, Delivery if you have:



  1. Education: A bachelors degree in business, management, computer science, engineering, or a related field. A masters degree, such as an MBA, a plus.
  2. Experience: 10+ years’ experience in project management, program management, or a related field is essential. This includes experience in a leadership role overseeing large teams and complex projects.
  3. Management Skills: Proven ability to manage and lead teams, including hiring, training, and performance management, is critical.
  4. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
  5. Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and to translate strategic goals into actionable plans.
  6. Program / Project Management: Coordinate management of multiple projects, align & optimize resources, manage stakeholders, and ensure that projects contribute toward the overall business goals and objectives.
  7. Problem-Solving Skills: Proficiency in identifying problems, analyzing potential solutions, and making decisions that align with the strategic goals of the organization.
  8. Technical Skills: An understanding of software development life cycles and Agile methodology.
  9. Certifications: Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or other industry-specific certifications can be advantageous.
