Successful candidates should correspond to the following required competencies:

Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement complex infrastructure projects using IaC and best practices
2. Build and improve automation pipelines for the software development lifecycle
3. Participate in systems performance tuning, work on platform high availability
4. Continuously work on monitoring and observability tools
5. Tightly collaborate with application software engineers to improve platform health, performance, and security standards, assist in architecture planning
6. Incident mitigation, evasion and postmortem investigation, in-depth technical assistance for the customer support team.

Skills Required:

1. Proven experience in leading projects from design to production – must have
2. Production experience with AWS – must have
3. Strong experience with configuration management automation and IaC (preferably Ansible, Terraform) — must have
4. Strong experience in design, administration and support of complex multi-tenant containers orchestration infrastructure (Kubernetes/Nomad/other) — must have
5. Strong experience in design, implementation and maintenance of DDoS protection solutions – must have
6. Experience working and configuring Nginx, Kafka, CDN – must have
7. Linux administration and troubleshooting experience – must have
8. CI/CD stacks management experience, Jenkins, GitLab CI, others – must have
9. Solid understanding of shell/Python or other – must have
10. Experience with containers management – must have
11. Experience with metrics and logging solutions: ELK, Prometheus, etc.
12. Familiarity with distributed SQL and non-SQL databases – would be a plus
13. English – intermediate, we are working in close collaboration with teams across the world
