We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior DevOps Engineer who will assume responsibility for ensuring the smooth deployment and running of our nBrace Inter-party Automation software solutions for our customers. The candidate must be self-motivated, self-driven, and hands-on. They will work with different stakeholders/teams, both within our product group and our customers.

This is an opportunity to make your mark and shape the delivery-at-scale of an innovative product suite to a rapidly increasing customer base.

Your role

  • Be responsible for the deployment and smooth operations of our products for our customers. Be able to consult with customers to understand their target environment, tailor the configurations to address their needs and implement the deployments.
  • Work with our core product engineering team to define, develop, and implement standard, automated, re-usable processes and tools for deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of product deployments.
  • Work with our product support team to diagnose and troubleshoot deployment issues, find and implement resolutions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a similar DevOps role, ideally working with cloud-based product solutions.
  • Knowledge of development and production deployment strategies on one or more public cloud environments - preferably AWS , but others would be nice to have (i.e., Google Cloud, MS Azure).
  • Experience in Maven and Microservices architecture .
  • Ability to work across teams including core product engineering, customer solutions, and support, and to manage and report on their own workload.
  • Ability to work with customers to understand and configure our product solutions to work with their environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyze logs and other monitoring data to understand and resolve deployment issues.
  • Experience working with and developing deployment/upgrade strategies, automated where possible but also manual where applicable.
  • Working knowledge of Jenkins CI/CD and configuration of jobs in core product as well as customer solution projects.
  • Experience in automated dev/test using Jenkins .
  • Experience in setup and using quality measurement tools (e.g., Sonar).
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker .
  • Experience with test frameworks and tools: Junit5, Spock, JMeter, Postman, etc.
  • Very good communication skills in English – both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with Scrum and Agile.
