GlobalLogic is inviting an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team.

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team. You will build and scale services in the AWS cloud environment, further advance the existing infrastructure – which is containerized and managed through Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and focus on practicing DevSecOps. Along with a team of experienced SRE and Platform engineers, you will have the opportunity to work in a wide variety of areas, including but not limited to advancing and pushing existing efforts in the areas of security, configuration management, infrastructure automation, test automation, and continuous integration.

The team has great things in place but also has strong ambitions about what else we want to achieve. It cooperates with the USA-based team, working in the USA time zone.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience either in systems engineering, systems architecture practicing DevOps or development of distributed systems
• First-hand experience with configuration management and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, Concord, Karpenter
• Detailed understanding of the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of Continuous Integration/Delivery/Deployment tooling such as GHA, AWS CodePipeline Suite
• Python, Java or Bash development experience
• Information Security engineering experience working on proactive threat prevention, incident response, and driving operational improvement
• Familiarity with implementation of security protocols and architectures such as HiTrust
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and big data platforms, understanding of big data pipelines and how to support them
• In-depth experience solving complex issues on Linux systems, and/or within the JVM
• Experience with source control systems such as git or svn
• A high degree of English fluency (B2+)
• Collaborative, open minded, able to quickly grasp complex concepts and contribute to the team’s overall effectiveness

Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining the infrastructure with an eye toward simplicity, innovation, automation, reliability, scalability, security, cost effectiveness, and ease of support
• Building and maintaining the development and deployment pipelines
• Supporting CI/CD and long-term-stable testing and release cycles
• Performing delivery and production support tasks
• Continually streamlining automation and processes to improve our maturity and efficiency
