About the Job:

The Senior DevOps Engineer will have primary responsibility to build and deploy applications in Amazon Cloud and on-premises.

The majority of our IT Operations teams are located in the US; currently, we are expanding our team in Europe, based in our location in Gdańsk, Poland. In this role, you will work in regular working hours of your time zone (no shifts expected).

In This Role, You Will:

1. Develop and maintain reusable templates and code to automate solution delivery and deployment processes across multiple cloud providers.
2. Collaborate with Enterprise architects, security, and SMEs to establish and enforce DevOps standards, best practices, and procedures.
3. Identify manual processes and procedures and design and implement automation solutions using cloud-native services.
4. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including knowledge base articles and best practices.
5. Support the operations and support teams; troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and deployments.
6. Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in cloud technologies, and evaluate and recommend new tools, services, and methodologies to improve the overall DevOps process.

Required:

1. Minimum five years of recent, practical experience delivering automated, secure cloud infrastructure solutions at enterprise scale.
2. Extensive direct experience with AWS and GitHub.
3. Proven experience with CI/CD tooling such as TeamCity; AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeBuild, GitHub Actions.
4. Experience with building environments in AWS utilizing Application Load Balancer, Amazon API Gateway, AWS CloudWatch.
5. Proficiency in networking and scripting languages such as PowerShell, or Bash.
6. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
7. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues; strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority with poise.

Optional:

1. A bachelors degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; cloud certification is preferred.
2. Experience with PostgreSQL is preferred.

This is a hybrid in-office role in Gdańsk, Poland.
