The Senior DevOps Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of the company’s internal development infrastructure and cloud environments while collaborating closely with software architects and development teams
responsibilities :
Ensure smooth operation of internal development infrastructure including CI/CD systems, version control (Git), artifact repositories (e.g., Nexus), code analysis tools (e.g., SonarQube), and monitoring systems.
Maintain and enhance AWS cloud infrastructure; provide advisory support to software architects on selecting appropriate AWS services for new projects.
Design and implement scalable cloud architectures in line with best practices.
Manage DevOps platforms including Kubernetes, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and database administration (AWS RDS and Oracle).
Maintain secure and stable infrastructure through regular maintenance, patching, and security updates.
Monitor systems proactively and troubleshoot incidents to ensure high availability.
Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations across the infrastructure.
Promote GitOps practices for infrastructure automation and continuously improve DevOps processes.
requirements-expected :
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in DevOps or cloud engineering.
Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).
Practical experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code approaches (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Experience with GitLab CI/CD, SonarQube, and artifact repository management (Nexus).
Strong teamwork skills with an open, communicative, and advisory mindset, able to work independently and responsibly.
High standards for work structure and quality of delivered results.
Good understanding of AI concepts and potential applications in daily work.
Excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken.
