Astral Payments is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to strengthen our global platform team. In this role, you will own the reliability, scalability and automation of our cloud environments, ensuring stable, secure and production-grade infrastructure for our engineering teams and customers.
Work schedule: The team works a 4-day workweek (Monday–Thursday), 10 hours per day, with a longer break in the middle of the day. Fridays are off.
responsibilities :
Infrastructure & Cloud Operations
Design, build and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
Maintain and optimise Kubernetes clusters.
Create and maintain custom Helm charts.
Build new hosting environments and improve existing infrastructure.
Deployment & Automation
Implement best practice workflows using ArgoCD.
Own and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
Drive continuous integration and deployment.
Build and validate self-healing service configurations.
Support & Collaboration
Provide daily support to developers.
Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and lead RCA.
Work cross-functionally to implement new components.
requirements-expected :
5+ years in DevOps / Platform / Cloud Engineering.
Strong experience with Terraform, ArgoCD, AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, Jenkins.
Strong command-line skills.
Understanding of networking, containers and cloud security.
