You will develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless and efficient software deployments. In this role, youll apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, utilizing tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform to enhance system management. A key focus will be on enforcing security best practices across all infrastructure and deployment processes, as well as provisioning, managing, and monitoring system performance to maintain high availability and reliability.

A core part of your work will involve automating manual processes to drive operational efficiency and collaborating closely with engineering teams for smooth integration and deployment of new features, especially in environments with Ruby, Node.js, and Angular. You’ll also play a critical role in guiding developers and technical leaders on DevOps best practices and strategic improvements across the organization.

Required skill set:

  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Systems Engineering or Configuration/Release Management role.
  • Extensive experience with AWS cloud services and architecture (including S3, RDS, SQS, EC2, CloudFormation, Lambda, ECS, IAM, Networking, API Gateway, CloudFront, EBS, CloudWatch, and AWS CodePipeline).
  • Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
  • Solid experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker).
  • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.
  • Programming proficiency with at least one language: JavaScript/TypeScript, Ruby, Python, or similar.
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
  • Experience with RESTful services.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile, and collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills.

Nice to have:

  • Proficiency in Swedish and/or Polish.
  • Familiarity with microservice architecture and serverless technologies.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, preferably AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Experience with Kafka or other event streaming platform.
  • Relevant certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or similar).

Don’t hesitate to apply if youre passionate about DevOps, even if you don’t check every box! Warm welcome with your application!
