Project Description

The project concerns the role of DevOps in an international, rapidly growing technology company that specializes in delivering innovative cloud solutions on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The company, a leader in its industry, serves clients worldwide, and its IT infrastructure is a key element of its success and continued growth.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in code management and CI/CD practices with Gitlab.
  Strong experience in managing cloud infrastructure, particularly GCP and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and visualization tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of additional cloud services and tools (AWS, MongoDB Atlas, BigQuery, PubSub, Google Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Google Cloud Secret).
• Experience with additional infrastructure components (Istio, Kali, Keycloak, Thanos, Promtail, Loki, Velero, Crossplane-Upbound, Forecastle, Kyverno, Jeager, Falco).

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in DevOps roles, particularly with GCP and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with Gitlab CI/CD pipelines.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues promptly.
• This job role requires a skilled DevOps Engineer who can efficiently manage and optimize cloud resources, maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, and ensure the deployment and operation of applications are seamless. The ideal candidate should be proficient in various infrastructure components and demonstrate strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
