About the role:
We are building a next-generation, large-scale marketplace with embedded payment systems , running entirely on a serverless AWS infrastructure . We’re looking for a unique technical leader - someone who thrives on understanding and solving complex challenges across both software and infrastructure , always keeping the entire platform in view.
Key responsibilities:
Holistic Platform Perspective : Analyze and solve technical challenges with a full-platform mindset (software + infrastructure, serverless AWS, payments)
High-Level Abstraction : Break down feature requests into their core requirements , challenge assumptions, and discover simpler, smarter solutions
Technical Design Mastery : Drive the creation of scalable, reliable, and elegant technical solutions , ensuring performance, coherence , and best practices
Communication & Collaboration : Clearly explain complex problems to both developers and stakeholders. Promote open dialogue , knowledge sharing , and team synergy
Team Leadership Potential : Mentor others and help shape a rapidly growing engineering team
Learning & Adaptiveness : Lead by example with intellectual curiosity , experimentation , and a drive to challenge outdated practices
Requirements:
Sharp intelligence & analytical mindset: You love working with smart, curious people and thrive in deep technical discussions
Exceptional technical communication : You can explain complex topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Hands-on expertise : Proven experience programming in Java and NodeJS
AWS mastery : Strong track record in managing infrastructure and designing scalable, serverless solutions
Decision-making experience : Comfortable making key technical and organizational choices in product development
Leadership experience : Previously worked as a Senior Developer, Architect, or Team Lead (teams of 5–15 preferred)
Startup mindset : Background in fast-paced, evolving environments where flexibility and speed matter
Domain advantage : Experience with marketplaces , payments , or high-growth platforms is a big plus
Fluent English : You communicate confidently and professionally with international teams
