Over the past three years, we’ve embarked on an ambitious digital transformation journey, focusing on customer-centricity and optimizing our IT services. As we continue to grow, we’re establishing a new team in Poland, and this role will be instrumental in shaping our expansion efforts.

The job:

As a Senior Developer, you will be at the forefront of designing, creating, and maintaining Power Apps. Your expertise will bridge the gap between technical intricacies and practical solutions. Collaboration with multiple application teams will be key, as you contribute to the end-to-end process, ensuring it is efficient and reliable, and meets Blue Water’s needs.

Strong development skills and eagerness to work with the Power Platform is a must-have, but if you also have an interest in roles such as Scrum master or a solution architect, they would be a valuable addition.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Power Apps.
  • Manage version control and automate deployment processes.
  • Support and troubleshoot issues.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams in an Agile environment.
  • Mentor junior colleagues, providing technical guidance and sparring.

Your background:

  • Masters degree in an IT-related field combined with 5-10 years of experience in the field.
  • Experience working with various Power Platform technologies, like Model-driven Apps, Canvas Apps, Power Pages, Dataverse, MS Sales (CRM), Power Automate.
  • Proficient in utilizing .NET Core.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (such as Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Understanding of Azure’s services— especially storage, Function Apps, & Key Vault.
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operation of systems.
  • Collaborative team player, capable of working with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and stakeholders, to deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.

Practical Details:

Blue Water Shipping is headquartered in Esbjerg, Denmark, and our IT development teams are located in Esbjerg and Gdansk. The role is primarily on-site at Aleja Grunwaldzka 409, Gdansk, Poland (with occasional travel to Esbjerg, Denmark, or Warsaw). We encourage flexibility and hybrid work, but we expect our team members to meet at the office some days every week.
