Project

As a Senior Developer for Market Risk, you will be part of a project focused on enhancing the Risk Platform. The role involves designing container-based deployment setups, coordinating complex service executions, and ensuring data quality through model input/output analysis. Additionally, you will work on optimizing the data pipeline for accurate and efficient risk assessment.

What you will be doing

• Establishing Python APIs for existing REST, GRPC, and Kafka interfaces on the Risk Platform
• Assisting the Risk quants and reporting team in building libraries for risk analysis and reporting
• Creating a setup for container-based deployment of Python services and tools
• Designing solutions for coordinating and executing complex service workflows
• Analyzing input and output data for models and developing tools to ensure data quality and consistency
• Setting up Jupyter Notebooks for working with Python APIs on the Risk Platform
• Developing DBT transformations to load and transform data within a Snowflake-based Data Vault model

Expected competences and knowledge

• Ability to work effectively across teams
• Strong communication skills
• +3 years of experience in Python development
• Proficiency in data analysis libraries in Python
• +2 years of experience in Java, SQL, and Docker
• Working knowledge of Snowflake (advantageous)
• Knowledge of financial markets (advantageous)
