,[Install, configure, and maintain PostgreSQL or MySQL database systems (cloud and on-premises), Perform database performance monitoring, alerting, and optimization., Implement and manage database backups, restores, and recovery strategies., Ensure database security through access controls, encryption, and regular audits., Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions., Plan and execute complicated database upgrades and migrations., Design, implement, and manage database infrastructure using Terraform., Automate the provisioning and management of database servers, storage, and related resources., Maintain Terraform configurations and ensure infrastructure consistency., Utilize Ansible playbooks to automate database deployments, configurations, and patching., Ensure consistent database configurations across all environments., Develop and maintain Ansible roles for database administration tasks., Manage and maintain the underlying Linux operating systems hosting the databases., Perform system monitoring, security hardening, and performance tuning., Troubleshoot Linux-related issues affecting database performance and availability., Design, implement, and test automated failover solutions for database systems to ensure business continuity., Implement and manage load balancing solutions for database traffic to ensure high availability and performance, Understand and manage DNS configurations related to database accessibility and failover mechanisms., Work with network teams to ensure proper DNS resolution for database services., Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for database configurations, procedures, and disaster recovery plans for all managed database systems., Participate in on-call rotation for critical database issues.
