As a Senior Data Scientist you will play a crucial role in our organization by overseeing the collection, storage, and interpretation of data. Your activities will be traditional machine learning focused, with classification programs, understanding statistical analysis, data mining, programming, problem-solving, and predictive modelling, with good understanding of algorithms.
Requirements:
- Experience and expertise in applying Data Science for Machine Learning, Classification, and Explainability of ML models
- Coding experience and expertise in Python/Golang
- Searching through large datasets to extract meaningful information
- Understanding and ability to interact with data engineering processes and tools, such as Spark/PySpark
- Experience in transfer of data into formats suitable for analysis
- Correlating similar data points to find actionable insight
- Ability to provide explainability to business stakeholders and audience
- Writing reports and presentations outlining business predictions or proposals based on data analysis
- Experience in supporting productionalization of produced models
Nice to Have:
- Experience in close collaboration with software engineers to integrate data science solutions into products and ensure that data-driven features enhance user experiences
- Researching new technologies and techniques to enhance existing data processes
- Experience in monitoring model performance in production and suggesting improvements
- Cloud experience: Azure, GCP or AWS
