We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist for our Data Team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring continued high performance and stability of our Microsoft Azure and our Databricks data platforms. The tasks involved require a deep platform understanding, advanced troubleshooting and continuous development of our processes, monitoring capabilities and user interactions.
As a Senior Data Platform Administrator (BI), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our companys data strategy and driving innovation within the Data BI Team. With 8.500 users and growing the data platform and data in general, join us to play a central role in ensuring Coloplast achieves our strategic priorities across business units.
The platform also serves as a base for AI and advanced analytics. Both of which are growing areas in the company. Your contributions will have a direct impact on platform scalability and performance and thereby user adoption.
responsibilities :
Configuration and proactive monitoring of all technical components in the platform
Analyse and optimize performance of data pipelines, data models, Power BI, dashboards etc. in collaboration with the data development team
Advanced troubleshooting across the platform
Lead new technical optimization or implementation projects
Manage and oversee deployments on the data platforms
Create and maintain overall platform documentation
requirements-expected :
Advanced experience with Azure DBA (SQL, AAS, ADF)
5-6 years of experience working with a large cloud-based BI setup
Minimum 3-years experience working in an international environment
Knowledge of data platforms
Superior SQL knowledge
Experience with Power BI, Azure
Fluent in spoken and written English
Broad understanding of data environments
ITIL Fundamentals
DevOps
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field
Strong technical skills
Strong communication skills
Good business understanding
Team-player
Databricks (not a prerequisite but an advantage)
Travel requirements: 5-10 days away from the office annually
