The Senior Data Operations Change Lead role is part of Fund Operations Change – a consolidated function across Middle Office, Fund Accounting and Transfer Agency. The Lead is accountable for the execution of transformation agenda within data space, making sure regulatory standards are kept.
The role holder leads and directs a team of Funds Change professionals (BAs and PMs) – including direct day-to-day managerial responsibility for global team. Incumbent will interact closely with multiple stakeholders across Operations, Technology, Product and client as required. The role will require acting as Product Owner across multiple SCRUM teams.
What you will do:
- Day-to-day leadership, management & support of Funds Internal Change area, ensuring e.g., all required deliverables are fulfilled timely and to the highest quality, all aspects of employee’s lifecycle are performed to the appropriate standard including goal setting in alignment with wider Change organization and performance reviews.
- Responsible for the day to day management of executing to milestones and budget on multiple complex projects and programs using AGILE methodology – acting as Product Owner.
- Adoption of Citi Data Global Policy and regulatory commitments delivery.
- Deliver Data related changes for Funds Services across all business lines impacting multiple downstream systems. In some cases, it is building new platform/capability from scratch to deliver significant operational efficiencies.
- Continual review of Internal Transformation processes with stakeholders to identify and execute tactical and strategic service and efficiency improvements.
- Capacity management and dynamic prioritization of resources.
- Monitoring of expense base to deliver execution of financial plan and initiatives to meet expense targets.
- Pro-active risk management and cooperation with necessary stakeholders in order to minimize operational & project risk and adherence to all Citi policies.
What we’ll need from you:
- 10+ years of experience in program management on portfolio level, and/or significant client change and client strategic programs, preferably within Fund Operations/Investor Services space.
- 10+ years of people management experience as manager of others or manager of managers.
- Data program knowledge to support operations – governance, quality, lineage, normalization, hygiene.
- Track record of delivering efficiency within Change/Project organizations and org structures creation/design.
- Stakeholders management skills, ability to build long‑term relationships, including exposure to clients.
- Continuous improvement and transformation‑related skillset with proven track record of the same.
- Excellent communication skills (oral & written), executive presence.
