Senior Data Engineer with German Miejsce pracy: Warszawa Technologies we use Expected SQL Oracle Kafka Operating system Linux About the project We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer with proficiency in German to contribute to the development and integration of a new data platform. The candidate will play a key role in defining and implementing Kafka-based interfaces, ensuring seamless data flow into the existing Oracle data warehouse, and supporting front-end data delivery. This position requires a strong technical background, attention to quality, and collaboration skills within a dynamic project environment. Your responsibilities Define functional interfaces and data requirements between operational and dispositive systems. Design measurement and metrics models to translate operational data into dispositive and statistical outputs. Develop and review Kafka-based interface concepts, carefully evaluating potential risks and opportunities. Perform systematic and case-specific reconciliations between operational and dispositive data systems. Conduct comprehensive end-to-end testing of data processing across Oracle data warehouse layers through to the Strategy front end. Document testing outcomes and ensure adherence to quality standards and project timelines. Our requirements Proficient knowledge of SQL and data warehouse database structures, specifically Oracle. Familiarity with Strategy data models and related processes. Experience with Kafka interface technologies and their implementation. Ability to define interfaces and data requests between operational and dispositive systems. Strong technical skills in designing measurement models that connect operational data with dispositive data outputs. Experience testing data implementations at multiple levels within a data warehouse environment and in front-end strategy applications. High quality awareness and critical evaluation skills regarding software implementation alternatives. Demonstrated independence, problem-awareness, and proactive approach to challenges. Effective teamwork capabilities along with strong organizational and communication skills. Fluency in German is required.
